Terms, plainly.

These terms are an agreement between you and Bhookle Tech Private Limited ("we", "us"), the company that makes and runs Tiff Log. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. We kept them short and human. Please actually read the first two sections.
1. Tiff Log is for tiffs
A tiff is a small, everyday squabble: the dishes, a late reply, whose turn it was. Tiff Log helps you log those, see the other side, and make up faster.
Tiff Log is not for abuse, violence, threats, stalking, coercion, self-harm, or any situation where someone could get hurt. It cannot help with those and must not be used for them. If you or someone else is in danger, contact the police or your local emergency number first, then a trusted person or a helpline. Free helplines in 175+ countries are listed at findahelpline.com.
2. Not therapy, not advice
Tiff Log is a self-reflection tool for fun and perspective. It is not therapy, counselling, medical, psychological, legal or crisis advice, and it is not a substitute for a qualified professional.
The advice, "their POV", messages and other suggestions in the app are generated by AI or by simple rules. They can be wrong, one-sided, or simply not fit your situation. You decide what to do and what to send. Use your own judgement.
3. Who can use it
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher.
You need a phone you control and, for the cloud version, an email address you can receive codes at.
4. Your account and your secret key
You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email. Keep your email and phone secure; anyone with access to them may be able to get into your account.
Your tiffs are encrypted on your phone with a key that we do not have. If you lose your phone and your secret key (recovery code), we cannot recover your encrypted data. Save the key somewhere safe.
5. Your content
What you write is yours. You give us only the permission we need to run the app for you: to store and sync your encrypted data, and to send the specific text needed to an AI provider when you tap an AI feature (see the Privacy Policy).
Use codenames, not real names. Don't write other people's full names, contact details, addresses or anything that could identify them. You are responsible for what you write and for anything you choose to send or share from the app.
6. Play fair
Don't use Tiff Log to harass, monitor, control, threaten or build a case against anyone, or to store anything illegal.
Don't try to break, overload, reverse-engineer, scrape or get around the limits of the service, or pretend to be someone else.
Peace Points, levels and unlocks are just for fun. They have no cash value, can't be sold or transferred, and we may change them. Gaming the invite system (fake accounts, self-referrals) can get points removed.
7. The service
Tiff Log is free today. AI features have fair-use limits so it stays free. We may add, change or remove features, and if we ever need to shut the service down we will give reasonable notice when we can, so you can export your data.
We work hard to keep it running, but the app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.
8. Limits of our liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions you make or messages you send based on the app. Our total liability for any claim about the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (for a free app, that is zero) or ₹1,000, whichever is higher.
Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited.
9. Ending things
You can stop using Tiff Log and delete everything at any time from the Me tab.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts others at risk. Where it is fair and safe, we will tell you first.
10. Changes and the law
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app and ask you to agree again.
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes go to the courts of India, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim locally.
